Description
Largish dark-red eye, fine buff and brown scalloping on the forehead, blackish arrowlike markings on a grey throat and breast.
Habits
Diurnal, Feeds mostly in foliage. Established pairs hold territories a quarter to 5 ha year round.
Habitat
Desert Woodland Shrubland, Arid scrubs and woodlands.
Breeding
July to December, 3 white, with reddish blotches and freckles, breeding season Incubation 17-21 days, by the female, young fledge 15 days.
