Description
Distinct longish bill, seemingly slightly upturned and often carried partly open; crown blacker than Sacred Kingfisher, back darker bronze-green, shading to almost peacock-blue on wings and tail; may be slightly buff on forehead and sides of breast. Immature: duller with faint barring on underparts.
